Raised in Medford Lakes, New Jersey, I returned home after college in Boston to explore a new path. I spent the last year as a barista at a local coffee shop, reconnecting with my hometown and building community with my customers. I used my time at the coffee shop to further explore the baking hobby I picked up during the pandemic, creating new delicious desserts for the shop to sell. After rave reviews from customers, I decided it was time to try a new business adventure and Mairi’s Cookie Co. was born!
